Sweet Southern Misses is a brand built on bold faith, inner healing, and reminding women of their God-given worth. Her mission is to empower others through designs inspired by scripture, sermons, and life’s hardest moments. What started as a passion project quickly became a movement of sisterhood, self-love, and spiritual strength. Jennifer believes that through faith and vulnerability, we can all rise and walk boldly in who God created us to be.

Cortney Jones
Cortney Jones joined forces with Jennifer in September 2024 to officially launch Sweet Southern Misses a faith based merch company rooted in purpose, healing, and bold belief. With hearts aligned and a shared desire to uplift women through scripture inspired designs, Cortney brought her passion and creativity to the vision. Together, they’ve turned a dream into a ministry, using apparel as a powerful way to spread hope, faith, and self love.

Alyssa Wright
Sweet Southern Misses was founded with Alyssa & Jennifer in High school. Just 2 girls with a dream. Shortly after graduating Alyssa tragically lost her life to domestic violence in 2016. Though she’s no longer with us, her spirit, strength, and heart continue to guide everything we do. Jennifer, her best friend, created this brand to keep Alyssa’s legacy alive turning heartbreak into hope and pain into purpose. Every design is a piece of her story, a tribute to faith, and a reminder that light can rise even from the darkest moments.

Vanessa Wickert
Vanessa has been the heart behind the hustle since day one. As our Program Director, she leads our rep team with passion, purpose, and a whole lot of Jesus. From cheering on every new design to sharing our mission far and wide, Vanessa has been our biggest supporter and loudest encourager. Her heart for community, connection, and Christ shines through in everything she does and we are so grateful to have her leading the charge!
